Full Moon Dreamboard: July 2009

I painted (yes, painted) my dreamboard for this month. It was great to get off my ass and actually paint since I’m supposed to be a painter have my brushes back in my hand again.
Leah inspired me. I realize that I really love dreamboards, but I’m just not into collage, so everytime I come across an alternative, then my dreamboard actually happens. Anyway, this month for me is about shelter. It’s the word that I kept thinking of as I painted this.
Perhaps I’m hoping for a bit of shelter in newfound friendships as I branch out and build relationships– I know I was thinking of the moon over the Olympic Mountains and the Puget Sound– the site of our upcoming Soulsisters Retreat.
The painting is still wet, so I couldn’t really move it in order to get a good photo, but since it’s mostly for me, that doesn’t matter so much. Everytime I look at it, I take a deep breath. That’s a good feeling.
